WHAT IS THE UNITED BLACK DRAG RACERS ASSOCIATION? :

The United Black Drag Racers Association (UBDRA) is a non-profit membership organization of drag racers. The UBDRA of Wisconsin (UBDRAW), established in 1997, is an affiliate to the national chapter based in St. Louis, Missouri.


OUR MISSION:

To preserve and promote the sport of drag racing through the commitment of members working together to achieve goals established for the benefit and improvement of the organization and the community.

 

OUR GOALS:

Use drag racing as a means of educating the community regarding safe driving and alternate recreational activities while providing an example of effective leadership and positive group interaction. Establish and maintain a supportive, cohesive, and united representation of African-Americans and other ethnic groups in the sport of drag racing. Establish programs for the enhancement of the sport of drag racing, the members, and community, including but not limited to: Educational Scholarships, youth and adult mentoring, community outreach and support.

 

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE UBDRAW?
Any person age 18 years of age and older may be eligible to become a member of the UBDRAW. This is started by simply completing the application process established by the organization. Applications may be obtained from the UBDRAW by contacting the organization by mail or phone.

 

CAN I DONATE TO THE UBDRAW?
Yes. The UBDRAW is a non-profit organization with full 501 c (7) status. The UBDRAW distributes thousands of dollars annually to various charitable and youth organizations, as well as the UBDRAW Scholarship Fund.
